| R&D Center,Hiratsuka is a laboratory for LPP (Laser Produced Plasma) light source development. About 30 researchers are working and Dr. Sumitani is the head of the Center. The Center is leasing a space from Komatsu Laboratory and set up a clean room of level 1000 with 230 m2, and 130m2 for research room. Hiratsuka Center is sitting on the top a verdant hill 10Km west from Hiratsuka JR station. From the Center you can overlook Hiratsuka City and Oiso machi and can see Mt. Fuji on fine days. |

DPP (Discharge Produced Plasma) light source is being developed at R&D Center, Gotemba.
The Center is located at the laboratory of Ushio Inc. at the foot of Mt. Fuji.  |
